Our teams have been involved in Social Housing development, sales and funding since 1997, and so we have worked with clients through major changes in the law and the sector at large and advising on the implications for Registered Providers.

We know that the ability to acquire and develop land is key for providers of affordable housing, and that development of major sites requires working in close partnership. Our teams have been involved in disputes which arise in the social housing sector since 1997.  We have substantial experience in dealing with all areas of housing management and all levels of Court and Tribunal, including the County Court, the High Court, the Appeal Courts and the First Tier and Upper Tier Tribunals. 

We advise on every aspect of anti-social behaviour, injunctive relief, possessions, judicial review, unlawful sub-letting and homelessness.  The Team deal with a substantial number of closure orders and committals and we have our own advocates meaning that Counsel are often not required.
